Hang Gliding Speed Run in the Italian Alps

Wolfgang Sies filmed this hang gliding speed run during a break in the World Hang Gliding Championship in 2019. From the slopes of Monte Zoncolan in Italy, Wolfgang pushes his glider to top speed while flying just above the terrain. Monte Zocolan has an elevation of 5,700 feet and is famous for being the world’s hardest bicycle climb.

Wolfgang is a master at the hang gliding speed run and has been a feature in previous posts.
