Part two of the United States Paragliding Nationals was held in Salt Lake City Utah at the Point of the Mountain Flight Park. Event organizers scheduled seven competition days between August 16-22.
This is the second half of the US Paragliding Nationals with the first half of the US Paragliding Nationals being held in Dunlap California between April 27th and May 3rd earlier this year.
Great weather allowed for flying a task everyday which lead to a high scoring event.
According to our calculations (by the way which may or may not be correct) Brad Gunnuscio is the new national champion followed by Eric Reed and Jack Brown. Josh Cohn finished in fourth.
We will be updating this with official results when they are known.
Task 5
August 21, 2009
Josh Cohn won his second task at Salt Lake City but with a mediocre showing at Dunlap, he will be pressed to get on the podium.
